Getset, Go!!!

Here's one for the diary. Saturday 2ND August will see Getset, Go take over The Magnet (Hardman Street, Liverpool). From what I can gather, if you're after a night of skulking in the shadows looking cool while the DJ spins pretentiously dull B sides, this night may not be for you. What can be assured is a disco playing an assortment of indie, soul, punk, house, hip-hop, techno, electro and funk, following the performance of two expertly selected local bands: Dirtblonde (who I'll be dammed if I can find a Myspace page for) and Emily And The Faves, of whom I am genuinely impressed by.
