My housemate is going to see Radiohead tonight and I'm jealous. Not because she's fortunate enough to be watching the splendidly dour, green minded (I hear the roadies are drinking from recyclable water bottles...yeah that should negate the leer jets) headline act, but more for the fact that the band that are ubiquitously described as being ones to watch, Brooklyn's MGMT (The Management) are in support. A week ago, I wouldn't have been so bothered. My reaction to the duo's if the 70's had electronica sound was lukewarm, although not entirely negative. New single Electric Feel and accompanying Justice remix however, kinda sorted my head out, revealing what all the fuss is about. Besides, any band able to wangle the line "Shock me like an electric eel" into the lyric sheet, gains my full support.

Oh hell yes! Thanks for posting the Justice Remix. It just about blows my mind every time I hear it XD
I read alot of negative reviews of the justice remix.. i just don't get it.. i think its one of their best.. specially after the justin remix.. if this is bad then what was that?
But i have to make an edit of that remix sometimes soon or i wil start hating it for that Michael Jackson like intro to it.. it's just annoying.
MGMT = <3
second best band of the year (after LATE OF THE PIER).
:D
