Fred Falke

I always had Fred Falke down as kind of the poor mans Alan Braxe. I know those guys collaborate a lot, but I just assumed that Braxe was the brains behind the operation. I guess I couldn't have been more removed from the truth, as Falke has single handedley remixed Hot Chip, Ladyhawke and The Whitest Boy Alive (among others) celebrating his bass playing roots, creating some of the most compelling remixes of the year so far. Are we headed for an album release?

MP3: Hot Chip - Colours (Fred Falke Remix) DOWNLOAD
MP3: Menace And Adam - Missle Test (Fred Falke Remix) DOWNLOAD
MP3: VHS Or Beta - Burn It All Down (Fred Falke Remix) DOWNLOAD
MP3: Ladyhawke - Back Of The Van (Fred Falke Ultimate Beverly Remix) DOWNLOAD

Is anyone else's enjoyment of Ladyhawke marred by the fact that she seems so horrifically derivative?

Interesting point re: Ladyhawke, but I honestly haven't been able to pry myself away from adoring everything about her work and THAT clip. I don't mind having another Stevie Nicks; the other ones not being blown by wind machines in video clips anymore so may as well have someone else doing it.

Alan Braxe & Fred Falke as a duo have had some fierce stuff too, such as their remix of Van She's "Kelly" and also that "Running" track.
