My housemate is going to see Radiohead tonight and I'm jealous. Not because she's fortunate enough to be watching the splendidly dour, green minded (I hear the roadies are drinking from recyclable water bottles...yeah that should negate the leer jets) headline act, but more for the fact that the band that are ubiquitously described as being ones to watch, Brooklyn's MGMT (The Management) are in support. A week ago, I wouldn't have been so bothered. My reaction to the duo's if the 70's had electronica sound was lukewarm, although not entirely negative. New single Electric Feel and accompanying Justice remix however, kinda sorted my head out, revealing what all the fuss is about. Besides, any band able to wangle the line "Shock me like an electric eel" into the lyric sheet, gains my full support.

Be Right Back
Apologies for the lack of posts. I've been suffering some financial, legal and time difficulties lately, all of which have been at the expense of the blog. This has been made all the more infurating as I've been sent some excellent music over the last month that I'd have loved to have posted. I should be up and running again early next month. Until then....
